Egypt White Onion flakes dryer
In February 2025, GLAD’s fully automatic onion cleaning, drying, and packaging production line was successfully delivered to a Fortune 500 company, far exceeding the client’s expectations.
As a Fortune 500 company, their supplier selection process was extremely lengthy.
June and September 2023: The client conducted two inspections at our facility to evaluate our processing cases and review our performance records. We showcased as many successful projects as possible.
Project Visits: We guided the client to visit several domestic projects in the same industry with matching production capacities. Below is a group photo taken during their inspection of UnisonEco, a factory equipped with 5 of our vegetable drying lines.

And the customer also inspected our supporting suppliers, for example, the following pictures are from the fan factory and combustion engine factory.
For three months after the inspections, we meticulously discussed every detail of the solution—from process design down to screw specifications and color selection. In December 2023, we proactively visited the client’s facilities in Egypt, which operate 3 dehydration processing plants and currently use 8 drying lines from a U.S.-based dryer manufacturer.

April 2024: The project entered the commercial negotiation phase, finalizing contracts for pricing, delivery timelines, acceptance criteria, and service terms etc.
The factory then entered into intense production and FAT. During FAT, the customer divides the entire line into three sections for FAT acceptance. One is the cleaning line, one is the drying line, and one is the packaging line.

In December 2024, after two months of sea transportation, 14 containers of goods finally arrived at Alexandria Port and were delivered to the customer's factory. Below are photos taken before the factory ships the goods.

In February 2025, we successfully passed the SAT and produced higher quality dehydrated onion flakes than previous American dryers, and our customers were very satisfied. The following are photos taken during the SAT.
